If THE King enters the room, it is best, no matter what you are doing, to stop and worship HIM!

Attacked by words
filled with all kinds of wrongs,
yet You fill my mind with sweet songs
and in Your presence I drift off to sleep.

Cycled by blind
mistreatment since I was small,
I hold on to You so I don’t fall
and You saturate my hurt heart with peace.

You are my stability, my rock-
And You turn my insides out
And make me a vessel of grace,
And praises to you I will ever shout!
Praises to You I will ever shout!

Adorned lilies,
Satisfied birds,
You take care of the creatures of the earth,
and You say I have much greater worth.

You will take care of me,
You are real and You are good,
And you will take care of me!

Thoughts of the way I used to think it was- safe, connected by strings of genuine concern, stable...

-mix with imaginations of returning, knowing how wrong my perceptions were-

and my heart is blanketed with sorrow…

…knowing there is no one there to trust, that the concern was only on the surface,

and that there really was no foundation.

And I turn my tear-filled eyes towards Heaven and ask “where to from here?”
There is one, and one only to whom I can go, and His love is eternal…

one day we will be as one.

Loved

Pungent aroma, sour and sickening
Unapproachable
Scaly skin, thick and callused
Untouchable
Prickly heart, cold and scarred
Unlovable
Yet
You approached me
You touched me
You loved me
Healing my sickness
Softening my callused ness
Balming my scars
And I was metamorposized
Into Your likeness.

I want to obey you in gratitude.

Ambushed by lies,
Which dress as the truth
I hide in my fortress of love

Protected by my powerful Father above.

The one who loves me

The one who gave all for me,

the one who's life tradegy

is what has given me hope to live in eternity.

Jesus is His name,

Jesus is the one who's love for me is always the same.

Jesus is the one who takes away my pain.

Jesus is preparing a place for me,

Jesus is the one in who I find a sanctuary,

Jesus is the one on who I want my focus to always be.
